Ocean Software logo (1983-1998)

Logo for Ocean Software, a British video game developer and publisher founded in 1983 until it merged with Infogrames (1996) and rebranded to Infrogrames in 1998. I reproduced this initially when I made the RoboCop logo and then repurposed that to make the Batman coloured version, which ended up being an almost complete redraw anyway. They also made a Jurassic Park game, but I didn't use it for that project. I have a lot of nostalgia for this logo.

…And how the logo appeared on their Batman '89 game. I think my family bought the Amiga 500 Batman Pack!

Detail of the classic logo. Look at that lovely registered trademark bubble!

Detail of the Batmal logo. It appears to be so authentic to the actual Batman logo that I wonder if the same artist made both?

Some of the reference used. Luckily I had an old Amiga magazine to hand (top right), because most of the logos I found online were low resolution or inaccurate reproductions. Including the one on the cover of that book about the company!
