Heavy Metal magazine logo recreations
Vector recreations of the Heavy Metal magazine logo. The logo itself is of course very simple - it's pretty much just the font Kabel rearranged - but the logo treatments were always a lot of fun. Here are some others I recreated using Affinity Designer.

The logo actually got redesigned some time around the 2000s. I drew both, so here's a comparison graphic showing the differences. All my recreations use the original however.
The current logo has a more deliberate quality, but I prefer the original.
