First Contact Assist

A Blender 3D render made for First Contact Day, April 5th 2026. Michigan model by April Banner, Enterprise by Lewis Niven. Compositing work done with Affinity Photo. I wasn't too happy with this, but it did pretty well on Bluesky, quickly becoming one of my most liked posts there. This is a slightly revised version.
