AMT Star Trek logo (1966)

One of my favourite "we have Star Trek at home" logos. Highly modular, simple and satisfying to reconstruct. All vector art, as per usual.

My recreation of the Star Trek logo used for AMT's first USS Enterprise model kit in 1966.

I often find myself wishing I had my own art to complement my logo recreations. And then I realised that in this case I actually had the perfect thing!

AMT soon started using a more official Star Trek logo, but this one has always appealed to me.

I also had a go at creating new glyphs in the same style, with mixed success I think. Probably not worth exploring any further, unless I can think of a use for it…
