USS Robinson, Garrick-class starship

Based on a 2014 design by GAT-X139, which can be found on DeviantArt. I took some liberties of my own, the most notable being the addition of the mission pod, which I feel helps balance the ship. It's definitely an optional extra though.

I liked the lore that was written for the class too: "…The Garrick class was never meant to carry a large crew and as a result much of the ship is fairly easy to man with a small crew size through some minor automation, much of the space that would have been needed had the Garrick class required a larger crew is instead utilized for her three shuttle bays."

The USS Robinson name was in part a silly homage to Andrew Robinson who played Garak on DS9 and perhaps also a subtle Lost in Space reference. But mainly, it has the kind of humble quality I was looking for.

"The Garrick class Light Scout was a vessel design to perform scouting missions in areas of low danger to free up much larger vessels and to widen the area in which Starfleet could properly survey."
