Gold Key Redux, my own Star Trek comic logo
My own Star Trek logo, made July 2025. I started out by making a version of the Gold Key logo that stayed closer to the classic TOS lettering. I quite liked the results and so I continued to experiment until I came up with the dynamic 'bowtie' version, which I instantly loved!
Have you ever been kept awake late into the night wondering what the Gold Key logo might look like if it resembled the classic Star Trek logo a little more?
Maybe a little like this.
That's all. Sleep tight.
"Ah, but what if it were also drawn in an exaggerated perspective style?" I hear you cry out in my dreams…
"Now flip the colours" you demand as my dream turns into a nightmare. "And put a bit more effort into the presentation!"

I also went back to my original version and made this 3D treatment...
And this version too. I actually think it's a bit overdone, but it was fun to make!
